Each and every day we have dozens of interactions: some pleasant and some not so pleasant. Over the years, we’ve each developed patterns of behavior we’ve grown into as ways of responding to difficult people and situations. The way we act in any given situation is usually a factor of personality, environment and the unique stressors of the moments. We will look at new ways of reacting intended to minimize difficulty and/or even turn a situation completely around. Sometimes, if we are willing to change the way we act and re-act in certain situations, we may be surprised by the fact that it might change the behavior of others. We will learn strategies to balance reactions, handle difficult situations and use win/win strategies to create benefits for all.
