Assertiveness and Self-Confidence

Description

Assertiveness is the ability to communicate your needs, ideas, and opinions clearly and respectfully—without aggression, passivity, or undermining others.

Self-confidence reflects trust in your judgment, abilities, and presence. Together, these skills shape how effectively you navigate workplace interactions, set boundaries, and influence outcomes.

This session focuses on practical interpersonal communication skills that strengthen assertiveness and self-confidence through awareness, intention, and practice. Participants will explore strategies for managing negative self-talk, using goals to stay focused on what matters most, and responding constructively in challenging or high-pressure situations. Additional techniques will address clarity, tone, and presence when expressing ideas or advocating for oneself. Throughout the session, participants will reflect on real workplace scenarios and identify approaches that feel authentic and sustainable. Each participant will be invited to select at least three techniques they are ready to apply immediately, supporting more confident communication and positive, productive interactions in their daily work.
