Jim Ognibene is a Group Learning Catalyst, Career Coach, and People Development Consultant

Jim is the founder and owner of Visioneer Consulting, LLC, established in 2017, and brings nearly three decades of full-time experience in Talent Development to his work.

He helps individuals and organizations move from potential to performance with clarity and confidence.

Jim partners with new and seasoned managers in small to mid-sized organizations to strengthen leadership capability, accelerate growth, and foster cultures where people can do their best work.

Career Coaching and Transformation

As a Certified Career Transition Coach (CCTC), he has guided more than 100 clients through his signature Career Exploration Intensive—a five-session, high-impact self-discovery journey that helps individuals transition into careers aligned with their values, strengths, and lifestyle goals.

From Potential to Performance

Throughout his career, Jim and his teams have designed and delivered programs spanning leadership development, teambuilding, and organizational agility. Jim has facilitated more than 1,600 workshops, both in person and virtually, supporting thousands of professionals in building confidence, capability, and momentum.

Leadership Program Design

He co-designed and directed an eight-month Emerging Leader Program, equipping high-potential employees with essential supervisory and leadership competencies, and has led numerous workplace engagement initiatives that strengthened cohesion during periods of organizational change.

Building Stronger Leaders and Teams

His academic foundation includes a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration,  Marketing from George Mason University, Virginia and a Master of Education in Instructional Design from the University of Massachusetts, Boston—a blend that continues to shape his practical, learner-centered approach.

He is an active member of the Organizational Development Network, Career Counseling Consortium, Career Thought Leaders, Coaches Rising, Salem Chamber of Commerce, and the Boston Facilitators Roundtable, staying closely connected to evolving best practices in coaching, organizational development, and adult learning.

Life Beyond the Work

Based in Salem, Massachusetts, Jim has called the North Shore home for over 20 years, following 15 years in Boston. His family story traces back to Caltanissetta, Sicily, with his grandfather arriving at Ellis Island settling in and around New York City. Outside of his professional work, Jim finds balance through a lifelong passion for photography, drawn to the interplay of light and shadow. He also enjoys gardening, biking, hiking, and long walks along the ocean shoreline—especially at sunset.
